The Types Of Stairlifts We Provide?
Here at Stairlift Worx , we have a range of different stairlift and chairlift types which are designed for different purposes and needs, they are:
Straight Stairlifts
Suitable for straight-up stairs on either the left or right side of the staircase. To help with getting on and off the first floor, manual or power swivel seats are available. Contact us today for a free no obliagtion quote.
Curved Stairlifts
Suitable for stairs that have corners and mid landings. This option required the rail being made to measure to fit your staircase, as these types of stairs come are a variety of different shapes and sizes. To help with getting on and off the first floor, manual swivel seats are available.
Hinge Rails
Hinged rails can be installed for both straight and curved stairlifts. They are required when a staircase is in close proximity of a walkway or doorway. When in use, it allows the stairlift to fully travel to the ground floor before folding away, allowing full access to the space. These types of rails are available either powered or manual.
Standing Stairlifts
Standing stairlifts are available for both straight and curved staircases. They are mostly required when a person’s mobility is restricted due to an injury or illness that prevents them from sitting comfortably. It may also be an option as a last resort if a staircase is unusually narrow.
Outdoor Stairlifts
Suitable to be fixed into wooden, metal, and concrete steps outdoors. This stairlift can be used all year round as it is fully weatherproof and comes with a waterproof cover.
